SCRANTON (WOLF) — The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things, including the way bars and restaurants can do business.

Last year, Governor Wolf signed House Bill 327 which allows the temporary sale of cocktails to go, but the temporary rule may expire after the governor’s disaster emergency declaration comes to an end.

The state legislature voted Thursday to end Governor Wolf’s emergency declaration, but the Pennsylvania House of representatives passed a bill late last month to make it permanently to sell cocktails to go.

Chuck Moran, Executive director of the Pennsylvania License Beverage and Tavern Association is pushing for House Bill 1154 to pass the senate.
